ONCE UPON A TIME

I had a starter home. And I started making it cute little by little. Then, we moved into our forever home and everything changed.

When we moved into our forever home 3 months before the pandemic hit, I knew I wanted to start with a clean slate and design my home from scratch. So that's exactly what we did. I had new rooms to play with layouts. I wanted to add lots of bold color and mix styles. So I played and dabbled and DIYed my way into sharing all of these things with you.

Then I finally found my passion, helping show you how to mix budget-friendly finds with DIY and sometimes a little splurge.

I am not a certified interior designer. I am not an expert at using power tools. I am not a painter. I am not a wallpaper installer. But I decided one day to try it. All of it.

And you know what? I did it! Did I fail along the way? Yep. Did I give up? Nope. Did I create a magazine-worthy space? That’s debatable and subjective. But what I did do is have fun, learn, build confidence with each success and oh, did I say have fun? If I can do it, you absolutely can do it too!

Before I knew it, I was passionate about showing others how to do what I loved and what I learned just by doing.
